트럼프 대통령의 취임 이후 이뤄질 대표적인 정책 변화다. 도널드 트럼프가 제 47대 미국 대통령으로 1월 20일 취임했다. 트럼프 대통령은 미국 국회의사당 로툰다홀에서 화려한 취임식을 가졌다. 트럼프는 JD 밴스가 부통령으로 취임 선서를 한 직후 존 로버츠 대법원장(John Roberts,)으로부터 권력을 이양 받았다.

He held a spectacular inauguration ceremony in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda. Trump took the oath of office from Chief Justice John Roberts shortly after J.D. Vance was sworn in as Vice President.

트럼프는 취임 연설에서 "미국의 황금기가 바로 지금 시작된다"고 말했다. 그는 곧바로 "법무부의 악랄하고 폭력적이며 불공정한 무기화(Justice Department)"를 끝내고 "급진적이고 부패한 조직"에 맞서겠다고 다짐했다.트 럼프는 자신의 선거 승리를 선전하며 자신을 지지해준 흑인과 라틴계 유권자들에게 감사를 표했고, 자신의 의제를 지지하는 국민들이 단결하고 있다고 말했다.

He immediately vowed to end the "vicious, violent, and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department" and take on "radical and corrupt organizations."Touting his election victory, Trump thanked black and Latino voters for supporting him and said the country is united behind his agenda.
"Many people thought it was impossible for me to make this historic political comeback," Trump said, "but as you see today, I am here. Because the American people have spoken," he said.
Trump emphasized that he has been "tested and challenged more than any president in the 250-year history of the United States," and that "an assassin's bullet tore off my ear."
