스냅 CEO 에반 스피겔은 자신이 살고 있고 스냅챗의 모기업 스냅(Snap)이 본사를 둔 로스앤젤레스에 공개 레터를 보냈다.

스피겔은 자신과 회사, 공동 창업자인 바비 머피가 "산불 피해 복구에 5백만 달러를 지원했으며, 더 많은 지원을 할 것"이라고 말했다.

Snap CEO Evan Spiegel wrote an open letter to Los Angeles, where he lives and where Snap, Snapchat's parent company, is headquartered.

Spiegel said that he, the company, and co-founder Bobby Murphy "have contributed $5 million to wildfire recovery and will be contributing more."

트릭 샷(trick shots), 스포츠, 코미디로 유명한 유튜브(YouTube) 그룹 듀드 퍼펙트(dude perfect)는 24시간 라이브 스트리밍을 진행, LA 산불로 집을 잃은 유튜브 듀오 콜린과 사미르(Colin and Samir)를 위한 'GoFundMe' 캠페인을 진행했다.

이를 통해 18만 달러 이상의 기금을 모금했다. 이번 라이브 스트리밍은 8만 평방피트 규모 텍사스 프리스코 본사를 소개하는 새 동영상을 공개하기 전 진행됐다. (현재 GoFundMe 페이지의 기부금은 27만 달러를 돌파했다)

Dude Perfect

The YouTube group dude perfect, known for their trick shots, sports, and comedy, hosted a 24-hour livestream and GoFundMe campaign for YouTube duo Colin and Samir, who lost their home in the LA wildfires.

The campaign raised more than $180,000. The livestream preceded the release of a new video showcasing our 80,000-square-foot Frisco, Texas headquarters (the GoFundMe page has now surpassed $270,000 in donations).
