할리우드의 허리띠 졸라매기에서 CEO는 예외였다.

할리우드리포터 조사 결과 넷플릭스(Netflix) 테드 사란도스는(Ted Sarandos) 2023년에 기본급 300만 달러와 보너스, 주식 포상금을 포함해 4,980만 달러를 벌었다. 1년 동안 주가가 63% 이상 높아진 성과를 반영한 것으로 보인다.

디즈니(Disney) 밥 아이거( Bob Iger)는 복귀 첫해에 3,160만 달러의 수입을 올렸다. 경영난에 시달리던 워너 브라더스 디스커버리(WBD) 사장 데이비드 자슬라브(David Zaslav)도 총 보수가 26% 증가한 4,970만 달러를 받았다.‌

2023년 할리우드 스튜디오 CEO 연봉 1위는 TKO그룹과 엔데버(Endeavor)를 운영하고 있는 아리 에마누엘(Ari Emanuel)로 8,390만 달러(1,189억 원)를 받았다.
