트럼프 대통령의 취임 이후 이뤄질 대표적인 정책 변화다. 도널드 트럼프가 제 47대 미국 대통령으로 1월 20일 취임했다. 트럼프 대통령은 미국 국회의사당 로툰다홀에서 화려한 취임식을 가졌다. 트럼프는 JD 밴스가 부통령으로 취임 선서를 한 직후 존 로버츠 대법원장(John Roberts,)으로부터 권력을 이양 받았다.

These are some of the biggest policy changes to come from Trump's presidency. Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20th.

He held a spectacular inauguration ceremony in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda. Trump took the oath of office from Chief Justice John Roberts shortly after J.D. Vance was sworn in as Vice President.

트럼프는 취임 연설에서 "미국의 황금기가 바로 지금 시작된다"고 말했다. 그는 곧바로 "법무부의 악랄하고 폭력적이며 불공정한 무기화(Justice Department)"를 끝내고 "급진적이고 부패한 조직"에 맞서겠다고 다짐했다.트 럼프는 자신의 선거 승리를 선전하며 자신을 지지해준 흑인과 라틴계 유권자들에게 감사를 표했고, 자신의 의제를 지지하는 국민들이 단결하고 있다고 말했다.

트럼프 대통령은 “많은 사람들이 제가 이렇게 역사적인 정치 복귀를 하는 것이 불가능하다고 생각했다”며 “하지만 오늘 보시다시피 저는 여기 있습니다. 미국 국민이 말했으니까요”라고 말했다.

트럼프는 자신이 "미국 250년 역사상 그 어떤 대통령보다 더 많은 시험과 도전을 받았다"며 "암살자의 총알이 내 귀를 찢었다”고 강조했다. 그가 펜실베이니아주 버틀러(Butler)에서 있었던 암살 시도를 언급할 때 상당한 박수를 받았다. 그는 또 “그때도 그랬고 지금도 제 목숨이 구원받은 데는 이유가 있다고 믿다 저는 미국을 다시 위대하게 만들기 위해 신에 의해 구원받았다”고 덧붙였다.

트럼프 대통령은  "우리나라에 대한 재앙적인 침략을 격퇴"하기 위해 남부 국경에 군대를 파견하겠다고 다짐하며 대통령으로서 취할 조치를 설명했다. 또 1798년 제정된 '외국인 적법('foreign gangs and criminal networks)에 따라 "외국 갱단과 범죄 네트워크"의 존재를 제거하겠다고 약속했다.

"A golden age for America begins right now," Trump said in his inaugural address.

He immediately vowed to end the "vicious, violent, and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department" and take on "radical and corrupt organizations."Touting his election victory, Trump thanked black and Latino voters for supporting him and said the country is united behind his agenda.


"Many people thought it was impossible for me to make this historic political comeback," Trump said, "but as you see today, I am here. Because the American people have spoken," he said.
Trump emphasized that he has been "tested and challenged more than any president in the 250-year history of the United States," and that "an assassin's bullet tore off my ear."

He drew considerable applause when he mentioned the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. "I believed then and I believe now that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again," he added.


Trump outlined the actions he would take as president, vowing to send troops to the southern border to "repel this catastrophic invasion of our country." He also promised to eliminate the presence of "foreign gangs and criminal networks" under the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798.

관세 인상도 언급

Also mentioned raising tariffs
He promised to increase tariffs, which he said would "pour a huge amount of money into our treasury." He also promised to sign an executive order to "immediately end all government censorship and bring free speech back to America."  Trump also said he would "make it the policy of the United States that there are only two genders: male and female."


He also said he would rename the Gulf of Mexico to the "Gulf of America" and change the highest peak in the United States from Denali to Mt. McKinley.

Trump also emphasized that giving the Panama Canal to Panama was a "stupid gift that should never have been made" and that he would take it back, saying that China was running the canal. "We didn't give it to China," he said, adding, "We gave it to Panama, and we want it back."

그는 “우리의 힘은 모든 전쟁을 멈추고 분노하고 폭력적이며 완전히 예측할 수 없는 세상에 새로운 통합의 정신을 가져올 것입니다."라고 말했다. 이와 관련 그는. "우리는 정복당하지 않을 것이다. 오늘부터 미국은 자유롭고 주권적이며 독립적인 국가가 될 것”이라고 설명했다. (We will not be conquered… From this day on, the United States of America will be a free, sovereign and independent nation) 트럼프는 선서를 할 때 영부인 멜라니아 트럼프와 그의 자녀들 옆에 섰다. 선서가 끝나자 그는 퇴임하는 조 바이든(Joe Biden) 전 부통령과 연단에서 악수를 나눴다.

Earlier in his speech, he referred to the fires in Los Angeles, where "some of the richest and most powerful people in our country" were affected, saying, "They no longer have homes.  We can't let all of this happen. It's going to be different now."

rump stood next to First Lady Melania Trump and his children as he took the oath. After the oath, he shook hands at the podium with outgoing Vice President Joe Biden.

빅테크가 차기 트럼프 정권의 중심

취임식에는 엘론 머스크(Elon Musk), 마크 저커버그(Mark Zuckerberg), 팀 쿡(Tim Cook), 제프 베조스(Jeff Bezos) 순다르 피차이(Sundar Pichai)  등 미국 최대 기술 기업의 CEO들이 대거 참석했다. 트럼프가 화성에 사람을 보내겠다고 공언하자 머스크는 박수를 치며 엄지손가락 두 개를 치켜세웠다.

현장에는 퇴출 위험에 직면해 있는 틱톡(Tiktok)의 CEO  쇼우 츄(Shou Chew)도 등장했다. 틱톡은 이른바 틱톡 금지법’에 따라 19일 서비스가 중단됐지만 트럼프 대통령이 틱톡의 금지 시한을 연장하는 행정명령을 취임 이후 발의하겠다고 밝힌 이후 극적으로 온라인에 복귀했다.

The inauguration was attended by many of the CEOs of the largest U.S. tech companies, including Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos, and Sundar Pichai. When Trump pledged to send people to Mars, Musk applauded and gave two thumbs up.


Also in attendance was Shou Chew, CEO of Tiktok, who is facing the risk of being kicked out of the company. Tiktok was shut down on Sept. 19 under the so-called TikTok Ban Act, but dramatically returned online after Trump said he would issue an executive order extending the ban after his inauguration.

티모시 돌란 추기경과 프랭클린 그레이엄 목사(Franklin Graham)는 기념식 전에 기도를 드렸다. 그레이엄 목사는 관중의 박수를 받으며 "하나님이 하신 일을 보라"고 말한 후 암살 시도를 암시했다. "아버지, 도널드 트럼프의 정적들이 그가 쓰러졌다고 생각했을 때 당신과 당신만이 그의 생명을 구하고 당신의 강력한 손으로 힘과 능력으로 그를 일으켜 세우셨다."

Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Rev. Franklin Graham offered prayers before the ceremony, with Graham alluding to the assassination attempt after saying, "Look what God has done," to applause from the crowd.

"Father, when Donald Trump's enemies thought he was down, you and you alone saved his life and lifted him up with your mighty hand in strength and power."


Senator Amy Klobuchar, chair of the Democratic Inaugural Committee, opened the inauguration with a tribute to the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and democracy.

She also quoted Bob Dylan, saying it was important to "make sure that America's democracy is our shelter from the storm."


Earlier in the day, outgoing Biden and first lady Jill Biden welcomed the Trumps to the White House. "Welcome home," Biden said. Biden issued a flurry of pardons in his final hours in office, including pardoning members of the Jan. 6 commission that investigated Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Biden also pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci.
