지난 7일 미국 텍사스주 오스틴(Texas Austin) 컨벤션센터에서 세계 최대 종합 콘텐츠 축제 'SXSW 2025'가 개막되었다. SXSW(South by Southwest)는 음악과 드라마, 영화 콘텐츠는 물론 소셜미디어와 XR(확장현실) 등 엔터테인먼트 테크(Technology) 분야를 아우르는 전 세계 유일한 행사이다. 참가자의 한 사람으로서 15일 폐막을 앞두고 있는 'SXSW 2025'를 개괄적으로 소개하고, 평가해 보고자 한다.

On March 7, the world’s largest comprehensive content festival, “SXSW 2025,” opened at the Austin Convention Center in Texas. Known as South by Southwest, SXSW is the only global event that spans music, drama, film content, social media, and XR (extended reality), among other entertainment technologies. As one of the attendees, and with the festival concluding on the 15th, I would like to provide an overview and evaluation of SXSW 2025.
